Our Latest FREE Firmware release now includes a fully automatic ten level prioritised maximum demand monitor and controller that is designed to save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars in harsh and excessive penality rates that are now very common with most energy distributors.
1: Energy Costs are continually soaring to enormous levels and this trend will no doubt continue given that governments and energy retailers are implimenting ecomonic structures designed to reduce energy consumption.
2: The introduction of Carbon Pricing and or Emissions Trading schemes will significantly increase energy costs and penalities.
3: Most Energy Distributors now penaliase commercial & industrial users when they exceed certain levels of maximum power demand and their billing rates are often set on these maximum demand levels. 5: The new Smart Meter Technology now paves the way for billing companies to remotely monitor many more energy consumption parameters in finer detail. Comapred to earlier electronic and electro-mechanical meters, these new smart meters are not only able to monitor peak and maximum energy demand, they can also accurately monitor Power Factor and Reactive Energy consumption opening up numerous avenues for billing schemes to maximise revenue.
It is becomming ever-so important now that consumers have the means to accurately monitor and control their own energy consumption and have independent records for confirmation of billing. With our latest firmware release, the Synctek Em20 Energy Monitor can now automatically control maximum demand and peak demand levels by shedding up to ten seperate load circuits in a fully prioritised and sequential manner. This ensures that any maximum demand penalites and associated increased penalty costs are eliminated in a timely and controlled fashion, fully automatically with minimum service disruption and without any operator or user intervention.
The Em20 Load Shedding system can be used in many domestic, commercial and industrial applications, including the control of HVAC systems, lighting, air conditioning, heating, manufacturing plants and building automation systems. One or more Em20 units can be stationed within different building area's and or in sectionalised manufacturing plants or sectors to automatically shed non-critical loads in a fully automatic standalone and prioritised manner. It may be used to automatically limit peak energy demands during building power-up or factory start-up conditions when energy demand requirements are the highest.
The Em20 Load Shedding control system may be used for Standby or Emergency Energy Systems such as Diesel/Gas powered back-up generators used in commercial buildings, hospitals and factories.
